The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of its Honorary Conductor Gürer Aykal, presents a distinguished program in its second concert of the season, bringing together national identity and a universal musical vision. The evening’s soloist is the young-generation pianist Ferhat Can Büyük, who stands out for his technical command and expressive lyricism. Having garnered recognition both nationally and internationally, Büyük draws particular attention with his compelling interpretations of the Classical and Romantic repertoire. With Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 — regarded as one of the composer’s most poetic and innovative works — the pianist will once again demonstrate the refinement of his interpretation and his musical maturity.

Ferhat Can Büyük, one of the leading classical musicians of his generation, will take the stage in Bodrum as part of the 6th İdil Biret Music Festival. On the evening of Friday, July 18, 2025, at 21:00, he will perform F. Chopin’s Piano Concerto No.1 with the Muğla Municipality Symphony Orchestra. Despite his young age, the artist has already delivered remarkable performances on national and international stages. This concert is expected to be one of the festival’s most anticipated moments. Set in an open-air venue, the evening promises to bring the poetic spirit of the Romantic era to the summer night.

Ferhat Can will give a recital at the Süreyya Opera Concert Hall. The architecture of the hall, which was completed in 1927, was inspired by some theater buildings in Berlin at the time. This magnificent hall, which was restored by the Kadıköy Municipality in 2005 and brought back to Kadıköy music lovers, hosts concerts by many musicians. Ferhat Can Büyük will play selected pieces from the Romantic period, considered the golden age of the piano, in his concert program.

Ferhat Can Büyük is performing at Adana Metropolitan Municipality Concert Hall. Within the scope of ÇDSO 2023 / 2024 season program, the concert will take place on 03 November 2023 at 20:00. Ferhat Can Büyük will perform the famous Piano Concerto in A Minor Op.16, composed by Edward Grieg in 1868, accompanied by the Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra with the Bulgarian Conductor Nayden Todorov. Ferhat Can Büyük will perform in Atatürk Cultural Center. The young pianist will play Chopin’s 2. Piano Concerto with the conductor Gürer Aykal and Istanbul State Symphonic Orchestra. With its versatile structure that brings together different branches of art, Bodrum Zai Yaşam hosts many masters from the world of art and hosts different events. Ferhat Can Büyük will meet with music lovers in Bodrum with a selection of works by Schubert, Lizst and Chopin in his recital.

F. Can Büyük is taking the stage at the long-awaited Atatürk Cultural Center, which will be opened this year. At the concert that will take place in IDSO 2021 / 2022 season program, the young musician will perform Chopin's 2nd Piano Concerto, which is very popular. The results of the 2020 International Malaysia Competition where announced with a slight delay due to the pandemic. The jury, consisting of music instructors from the leading conservatories of USA, Asia and Europe, delivered the meaningful "Beethoven Prize" award to F. Can Büyük with the appreciation of the best performance.

The International Leeds Piano Competition, one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world, which will be held for the 20th time this year, have been concluded. This important competition, held every three years, has made significant contributions to the career of many well-known pianists today. This year, the jury, which had a very difficult pre-selection process due to over 40% applications compared to previous periods, selected 63 participants as a result of the applications of 264 pianists from many different countries. Ferhat Can Büyük draws attention as the only Turkish Pianist among these winners. The young pianist will take part in the Warsaw side of the concerts that the participants will perform in London, Berlin, Paris, New York, Beijing, Tokyo, Warsaw and Seoul. IDSO again featured Ferhat Can Büyük in the 2020/2021 season, after the 2018 season Ferhat Can Büyük concert, which filled the hall with the participation of an intense audience. Ferhat Can Büyük will take the stage for Beethoven 4th Piano Concerto accompanied by IDSO. The concert will be held on Friday, January 08, 2021 by C.R.R. It will take place at the Concert Hall at 20:00. Tickets can be obtained from Biletix sales points or IDSO toll booths.

Ferhat Can Büyük won the 1st prize in solo piano category E in the 20th International Lithuanian "Music Without Limits" competition this year. The competition, which takes place every year with a lot of participation from many countries, hosts many musicians from different instruments and categories created for different age groups.

The "Müzik Dile Gelse" program, prepared and presented by Ayşe Yavaş on TRT3 Radio is being broadcast every friday at 16:00 (GMT+2). On August 28 2020, Ferhat Can Büyük, will be the guest of the program with his new works.

Ferhat Can Büyük won first prize in the Moscow "Musica Classica" competition, which was held for the 27th time this year. Due to pandemic, he became the only foreign participant to be awarded from outside Russia in the competition held with remote participation this year.

This year, Centrum Promocji Kultury concert hall which draws attention with its architectural design hosts IV. Warsaw EFAM festival. The musicians who are going to perform at the festival are selected among the students studying music at the concervatories located all over Europe. PiK Polskie Radio is hosting Ferhat Can Buyuk at Villa Blumwe Music Festival. The historical name of the building, which is being used by the PiK for radio concerts, has also inspired the festival's name. The event is organized by the Piotr Orawski Foundation and co-financed by the Bydgoszcz Music and Dance Institute. This year, Ferhat Can Büyük participated in the IX. Interfest - Bitola International Piano Competition in Macedonia. The young pianist who won the first prize with his performance evaluated by 100 full points in the competition which was held on 05 – 07 October 2018 was also received the “Jury Special Award” which was selected from all of the category winners by the jury. Ms. Milica Šperovik-Ribarski was the art director of the competition and the jury was consisting of internationally renowned pianists and professors.

Ferhat Can Büyük will meet with Polish music lovers at the International Chopin Autumn Festival which is organized 37th time in this year. He will take place at the organization which he has been invited with approximately 1 hour concert program. Traditional Poland Antonin Piano Competition is a contest held for 31 years. Participants of this competition are selected from among foreign students in conservatory and music schools within the Poland borders. In a sense that, the conservatories are also competing…

The participants play the Chopin works in the first stage. The second stage consists of the competitors own selected works. The competition takes place in concert, in front of a crowded audience. The most successful contestant of both stages is embracing the ‘’Grand Prize’’.

In TRT Radio-3 Classical Music Timeline, Neşe Tartanoğlu has a radio program on every Thursday at 11:00 AM (Local Time In Turkey) called “Genclere” for 18 years. In this program, popular, successful and well-known artists from Turkey are accepted as guests and those artists share the most beautiful examples of their voices, concerts, recordings, etc with the audience. On 04.01.2018 (Thursday), the recordings from Ferhat Can Büyük’s concert which was at The Podium Hall, Ankara will be played from the radio. At the same time, they will be in touch with Ferhat Can Büyük for an interview by phone.

Ferhat Can Büyük will meet with music enthusiasts in Istanbul and Ankara for performing his music. Podium Hall, one of the youngest and boutigue concert halls of Ankara, offers a whole new standart to the concert veneues with its impressive hall and high quality piano. He will perform with a program of Scarlatti, Brahms and Chopin's works. On 16/05/2017, Ferhat Can Büyük will perform in the premiere of the young Polish composer Lukasz Olszowka’s piece called “Psychodens” which is composed for the piano. The concert will begin at 18:30 in Bydgoszcz Music Academy Concert Hall and is open to the public.

Ferhat Can Büyük will give a concert for the Chopin's birthday memorial. Organization by the Turkish Embassy in Poland. Resital will start at 12:00 P.M. , at the Zygmunt Jan Rumel Public Library in Warsaw. Artist  will meet Polish music lovers with a program of works by F. Chopin and Turkish composer Ulvi Cemal Erkin.

TRT 3 Radio Classical Music Generation's popular program called "Bir Misafirimiz Var" (We Have A Guest) will publish Ferhat Can Büyük's concert recital in Ankara Mozarthouse on 02.11.2016. There will be an interview with the young artist candidate and also the people’s opinions and comments who had been in the concert. In this special night, the students of İdil Biret among them Ferhat Can Büyük, will perform the works of the great composers of the French art.

The concert, entitled "One Night in Paris" will take place at Leyla Gencer Opera and Art Center on December 25 at 17.00. Concert tickets can be obtained from Biletix sales points.

The first place winner at the 2015 “Meriç Soylu Shining Stars Awards”, given to young talents by İş Sanat, Ferhat Can Büyük performed his first concerto at only 15 years old, accompanied by the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Antonio Pirolli. Büyük, who took the stage with the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra last year, has achieved great success in master classes given by connoisseurs such as İdil Biret, Ewa Poblocka, Andrei Diev, Herbert Schuch and Matti Raekallio. The pianist, who is continuing his education with Prof. Meral Yapalı at the İstanbul University State Conservatory, is making great strides toward becoming a source of pride for Turkey as a piano virtuoso. With his program at a Sunset Concert at the festival, Ferhat Can Büyük will go back to the golden age of the piano in music history and celebrate the masters of the Romantic era.

One of the most prestigious events in the classical music world with "The International Hollands Music Sessions", this year it is guests to exhibit a performance by providing scholarships to students for the first time in Turkey. Ferhat Can, 4 and 7 August 2016 in TIHMS concerts will be held in the Netherland / Bergen.

Ferhat Can Büyük is preparing for a recital on 3 December 2015 at the Arlberg 1800 Concert Hall in Austria. The concert hall, built in a historical building at the summit of the Alpine mountains, is famous for its magnificent acoustics and a piano with a very special sound.

Ferhat Can Büyük took the stage with Poyraz Baltacıgil and Hande Küden for the opening concert of the 16th İş Sanat Festival with the Borusan Philharmonic under the direction of Chef Sacha Goetzel. Young musicians who got full marks from the audience played "Triple Concerto" by Beethoven in the hall filled by music lovers from Istanbul.

Ferhat Can Büyük was the winner of 2015 in the Shining Stars contest held every year in memory of Meriç Soylu in the İş Sanat organization. Soylu family, contestants and art lovers attended the ceremony held in Milli Reasürans Concert Hall. At the ceremony, the young pianist received his award from Meriç Soylu's grandfather, Fuat Diriker.
